Introduction
Original mice for the Amiga line of computers can be expensive, yellowed, and suffer from low performance. Fortunately, there are modern adapters that allow you to connect a newly made mouse to your Amiga at a lower cost and with better functionality.
Instructions
I purchased a PS/2 mouse adapter from Any Retro (a U.S. seller) on eBay for $20 plus shipping and taxes. You can also buy USB adapters like this one from the UK.
I purchased a white PS/2 optical mouse from Amazon for $8 plus shipping and taxes.
Comments
This setup works really well and was not too expensive. The performance of the new mouse is heads and tails (no pun intended) above using an original Amiga mouse.
Note there is also a port for plugging in a joystick.
