Task: Purchase and Install a 1MB Chip Ram Expansion Board for Your Amiga 600

Introduction
I recently purchased an Amiga 600 and upgraded with a PiStorm CPU accelerator. While the PiStorm adds a ton of fast RAM, it does not provide the extra 1MB of chip RAM to get the Amiga 600 to a total of 2MB that is needed to run some games. Fortunately, this is an easy upgrade by installing a board in the trapdoor slot.
Instructions
Purchase a 1MB chip RAM upgrade board. I got mine from Amiga Kit for around $25. These are available from other sellers such as AmigaStore, AmigaShop, and RetroPassion.
Installation is easy. Simply remove the trap door cover from the bottom and plug on the board with the chips pointing up toward the keyboard.

As you can see below, my Amiga 600 now has 2MB of chip RAM according to SysInfo. This is the maximum it can have given the chipset and bus.
