Task: Update the Firmware of Your Kung Fu Flash SD-Card Device for the Commodore 64 Computer

Introduction
I have previously posted about the amazingly easy to use Kung Fu Flash cartridge that facilitates booting a variety of software types on the Commodore 64. The firmware for the Kung Fu Flash is constantly being updated and is super easy to install on the cartridge. Kudos to the developer for making this all SO easy.
Instructions
First, navigate to the GitHub firmware page and download the latest file with the .upd file extension. At the time of this post, I downloaded version 1.51 that was released in June of 2024. My cartridge came with version 1.48 when I purchased it several months ago.
Second, insert your MicroSD card into an SD card reader on your PC. Simply drop the update file onto the root of the card and re-insert into the cartridge.
Third, plug the cartridge back into the C64 and boot to the menu. Find the update file on the root directory and select it. It will ask you to confirm the update.
Fourth, confirm your latest version number on the screen in the bottom banner of the menu. That is it!

The 1.51 version fixed a few bugs and added a few minor features such as hiding files that should be hidden.
